TechGulf CEO, Franklin Asare has expressed concern about the potential dangers of artificial intelligence (AI), citing ignorance as a primary reason for worry.Speaking at the first Citi Business Festival Forum on Citi TV, under the theme ‘Reimagining the Digital Economy,’ Mr. Asare, who formerly served as the Country Director for Oracle Corporation, highlighted the intrusive capabilities and algorithms of AI, which can be exploited to a great extent.He provided an example of how mentioning pizza can trigger targeted pizza advertisements on smartphones, which he attributes to the algorithms employed by AI systems.
